After the Rip

Sell it back

Sell a card back to us for store credit at the rate shown at the time of sale.

You can sell a card in your collection back to us. We buy it at a percentage of its current market value and credit your wallet.

How to sell one back

  1. Open your Collection and select the card.
  2. Choose the sell-back option. The exact amount you will receive is shown before you confirm.
  3. Confirm. The credit lands in your wallet balance immediately and the slab returns to our available inventory.

The rate

The sell-back rate is a percentage of the card's current market value, and the exact figure is always displayed on the sell screen before you confirm. Read it there rather than relying on a number you remember — the rate is a platform setting and it can change at any time without notice.

Two things follow from "current market value":

  • The offer tracks the market, not the value at the moment you pulled the card. It can be higher or lower than what was on screen during the rip.
  • Values are aggregated from third-party sources and are not a guarantee of what the card would fetch elsewhere.

You are paid in store credit

This is the important part. Sell-back proceeds are paid as store credit, on exactly the same terms as a deposit: usable for packs, and not withdrawable, transferable, or redeemable for cash. See fund your wallet.

Why we buy cards back

Straightforwardly: it suits both sides. You get liquidity without waiting for a private sale, and we get inventory back without paying to ship a card out and source a replacement. That is why the rate can be as high as it is.
